  Risk of death  when working on component parts and systems with U >= 30 V alternating voltage (AC) or U >= 60 V direct voltage (DC) Do not touch damaged or defective live component parts and lines or non-insulated electrical connections and lines. AS54.00-Z-0001-01A 
  Risk of fire  /risk of explosion due to short circuit and escaping oxyhydrogen gas. Risk of (burn) injury caused by caustic burns to eyes, skin and mucous membranes from battery electrolyte/mist, short circuit and arcing. Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing battery electrolyte or absorption of lead through the skin or body orifices. Risk of death  due to voltage U >= 30 V AC and U >= 60 V DC. No fires, sparks, open flames or smoking. Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and glasses. Only pour battery acid into suitable and appropriately marked containers. AS54.10-Z-0001-01A

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove battery (G1)   AR54.10-S-0005S
2 Remove the auxiliary battery  
  AR54.10-S-0007S
INSPECT Check     
3 Visual inspection for external leaks or damage Model 906
IMPORTANT The batteries (G1) and additional batteries must not be mixed up when installed. When replacing batteries (G1) or additional batteries use the correct capacities.
If leaky or damaged, replace battery (G1) or additional battery: ↓
Remove/install battery

4 Check fluid level of individual battery cells Not with gel battery.
IMPORTANT The battery cells are properly filled when the acid is level with the "MAX" marking or the max. mark (arrow).
If it is not possible to determine the acid level from outside the battery, the acid should be approx. 15 mm above the lead plates or level with the max. mark (arrow).		  
5 Correct fluid level of individual battery cells Not with gel battery.
NOTES Do not use a metal funnel to refill.
This can lead to a short circuit.
IMPORTANT Only use distilled water to top up the fluid and do not overfill the battery cells.		  
6 Check battery (G1) or additional battery Model 906
