Removing and installing door catch - AR72.10-P-2100LFS

	Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof.	No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area when the components are moving.	AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
	Remove
1	Remove power window at front door	MODEL 222 with CODE Z07 (Top protection) with CODE Z11 (Left front power window with special protection) with CODE Z12 (Right front power window with special protection)	AR72.10-P-1800LFS
2	Press door holder (1) off of ball head bolt (2) on front door	When working on unsecured front door ensure that it does not swing completely open. Otherwise the front door can be damaged.

3	Press door holder (1) off of ball head bolt (3) on A-pillar	Mounting wedge	Figure
4	Moisten grommet (4) and front part of door holder (1) with liquid lubricant	Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 l	*BR00.45-Z-1010-06A
5	Turn door holder (1), carefully pull inward through grommet (4) and remove from front door toward rear	Removal:  Hold grommet (4) from inside. Otherwise the grommet (4) can be detached from the front door or damaged.
	Install
6	Moisten grommet (4) and front part of door holder (1) with liquid lubricant	Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 l	*BR00.45-Z-1010-06A
7	Insert door holder (1) into front door and carefully press outward through grommet (4)	Hold grommet (4) from outside. Otherwise the grommet (4) can be detached from the front door or damaged.
8	Press door holder (1) onto ball head bolt (3) on A-pillar	Ensure that door holder (1) is properly seated on A-pillar ball head bolt (3).
9	Press door holder (1) onto ball head bolt (2) on front door	Ensure that door holder (1) is properly seated on ball head bolt on front door (2).
10	Install power window in front door	MODEL 222 with CODE Z07 (Top protection) with CODE Z11 (Left front power window with special protection) with CODE Z12 (Right front power window with special protection)	AR72.10-P-1800LFS
