6	Remove electronic ignition switch control unit	Do not detach the electrical connectors on the electronic ignition switch control unit.	AR80.57-P-1000GM
7	Remove ignition switch cable (1) from the electronic selector lever module control unit (N15/5)	Squeeze the retaining lug (1b) together and push the connector (1c) against the spring force into the electronic selector lever module control unit (N15/5), rotate by 90° (clockwise or counterclockwise) and pull off the ignition lock cable (1).
8	Expose ignition lock control cable (1)
9	Install in the reverse order

11	Read out fault memory and erase	Stored faults which may be caused by assembly work, test work, removed lines or a simulation, must be processed and erased in fault memories after completing the work.
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
12	Perform function test on ignition lock	The selector lever may only be capable of being shifted from the "P" position, when the transmitter key is in position "2" and the brake pedal pressed. It should only be possible to remove the transmitter key when the selector lever is in position "P".
