Location

The stationary heater control unit is integrated in the stationary heater unit, which is located in the rear area of the right wheel arch.

Task

The stationary heater control unit has the following tasks:

Reading in of signals

The input factors are read in via the following connections:

Direct line

The signals from the following components are read via direct lines:

IMPORTANT If the temperature of T = 125 °C in the stationary heater unit is exceeded, the thermal fuse recognizes overheating through the temperature sensor and switches off the stationary heater (STH) with subsequent overheating interlock.

Climate control LIN 2

The signals are read in via climate control LIN 2. The functions that use these signals are described in the individual function descriptions.

Evaluation of input factors

The input factors that have been read in are evaluated by the integrated microprocessor and the relevant components are then actuated.

Actuation of components

The following components are actuated via direct lines:

Transmitting signals

The signals are sent via climate control LIN 2. The functions that use these signals are described in the individual function descriptions.
