	Remove/install
1	Remove driver or front passenger seat		AR91.10-P-1000LW
2	Remove paneling from seat frame		AR91.10-P-1200LW
3	Release catch hook (8) and remove airbag electrical connector (3) from bracket (4)	Model 205.0/1/2, 253 except code U10 (Automatic front passenger airbag shutoff) During removal of seat cushion (1) on front passenger seat.
4	Release seat belt reminder warning electrical connection (9) using two suitable screwdrivers and remove from airbag electrical connection (3)	Model 205.0/1/2, 253 except code U10 (Automatic front passenger airbag shutoff) During removal of seat cushion (1) on front passenger seat. Carefully remove seat belt reminder warning electrical connection (9). Otherwise, damage may occur to the seat belt reminder warning electrical connector (9).
5	Disconnect weight sensing system (WSS) electrical connector (10)	Model 205.0/2, 253 with code U10 (Automatic front passenger airbag shutoff) When replacing seat cushion (1) of front passenger seat.
6	Remove screw/bolt (11) and remove weight sensing system (WSS) control unit (N110) from bracket	Model 205.0/2, 253 with code U10 (Automatic front passenger airbag shutoff) When replacing seat cushion (1) of front passenger seat. Note correct installation position of corrugated hose and weight sensing system (WSS) control unit (N110).
7	Expose electrical wiring harness of seat cushion (1) and disconnect its electrical connectors	Attach electrical wiring harnesses on seat adjustment unit so that unrestricted adjustment of the driver or front passenger seat is possible. Otherwise the electrical wiring harnesses may become sheared off or pinched. The number of electrical connectors and electrical wiring harnesses is dependent on the vehicle equipment.
8	Unhook left rear footwell lamp (E17/17) or right rear footwell lamp (E17/18) from seat adjustment unit and hang to one side with lines connected	Model 205.0/1/2, 253 with CODE 876 (Interior lights package)

10	Unhook edge stripping (2) of seat cushion cover all way round	Hook in the edge stripping (2), starting at the corners.

11	Remove seat cushion (1)
12	Remove sensor mat with weight sensing system (WSS) control unit (N110) from seat adjustment unit	Model 205.0/2, 253 with code U10 (Automatic front passenger airbag shutoff) When replacing seat cushion (1) of front passenger seat. Remove transport locks at new seat cushion (1), remove sensor mat with weight sensing system (WSS) control unit (N110) from new seat cushion (1) and attach to seat adjustment unit. The seat cushion (1) with weight sensing system (WSS), consisting of the cover, the padding, the weight sensing system (WSS) control unit (N110) and the sensor mat is supplied precalibrated in the event of a repair and may only be replaced in its entirety.
13	Remove seat belt warning sensor	Model 205.0/1/2, 253 except code U10 (Automatic front passenger airbag shutoff) When replacing seat cushion (1) of front passenger seat.
13	Remove seat belt warning sensor		AR91.60-P-0720LWA
14	Install in the reverse order
15	Parameterize weight sensing system (WSS) with diagnostic system	Model 205.0/1/2, 253 with code U10 (Automatic front passenger airbag shutoff) During removal of seat cushion (1) on front passenger seat.
		Model 205.0/1/2 with CODE U10 (Automatic front passenger airbag shutoff) Menu item "Initial startup of weight sensors".	AD00.00-P-2000-04B
