	Remove/install
1.1	Remove front seat	If paneling (3, 5, 6) is being removed.
			AR91.10-P-1000LW
1.2	Move front seat to foremost and uppermost position	If only paneling (1, 2, 4) is being removed.
2	Cover up door sill	If the front seat was not removed.
3	Unclip paneling (4) at top and remove downwards	Model 205.0/1/2, 253 with code 221 (Electrically adjustable left driver seat) except code 494 (US version) Model 205.0/1/2, 253 with code 222 (Electrically adjustable right front seat) except code 494 (US version) Model 205.0/1/2, 253 with code 275 (Driver's seat, electrically adjustable with memory function) Model 205.0/2, 253 with code 241 (Memory switch for electrically adjustable driver seat, left) Model 205.0/2, 253 with code 242 (Front passenger seat, electrically adjustable with memory function) Model 205.0/2, 253 with code P65 (Seat comfort package)

4	Unclip paneling (1) in direction of arrow and remove	Make sure that the guides (arrows A) of the cover (1) are correctly seated in the supports (arrows B) of the cover (3) and that the catch hooks (arrows C) are correctly engaged.
5	Push cover (2) inwards and unhook from catch hooks (7)
6	Push cover (2) downwards and unhook from catch hooks (8)
7	Unhook catch hooks (9) of cover (2) from cover (3)
8	Push lock (11) to side and pull cover (2) outwards over the catch (10)
9	Unhook cover (2) at front from cover (3), swivel upwards in direction of arrow and place to one side
10	Disconnect electrical connection (20)
11	Unclip retaining clip (12) and remove electrical wiring harness (13) from working area	Check for correct installation position of electrical wiring harness (13).

12	Drill out rivet (14)	Replace rivet (14).
13	Release lock (15) and remove cover (3)
14	Unclip paneling (5)	Mounting wedge	Fig 6
15	Remove screw/bolt (16) and place seat belt buckle (17) to one side	Ensure correct installation position of seat belt buckle (17).
		Screw/bolt, front belt buckle	*BA91.40-P-1004-01U
16	Unhook electrical wiring harness of seat belt buckle (17) from cover (6)
17	Drill out rivets (18)	Replace rivet (18).
18	Release lock (19) and remove paneling (6)
19	Install in the reverse order
