To access the workshop level of the instrument cluster (A1), perform the following actions:

The multifunction display (A1p13) switches to the workshop level.

It is possible to scroll between the respective menus and submenus or in various lists using the left multifunction steering wheel button group (S110).

The following menus can be accessed:

  1. Vehicle data
    • Voltage (in V) and current consumption (in A) in on-board electrical system
    • Data from instrument cluster (version numbers, software releases etc.)
    • Engine data (engine number etc.)
    • Oil data (oil quantity, temperature)
    • Vehicle data
  2. Roller test mode
    • On
    • With circuit 15 OFF

IMPORTANT Activating the roller test mode prevents faults from being entered in the Electronic Stability Program control unit (N30/4) during roller tests.

In the roller test mode submenu, it is possible to switch between the settings "On" and "With circuit 15 OFF" using the left multifunction steering wheel button group.

If you exit the workshop menu without previously deactivating roller test mode, the roller test mode menu is automatically called up during the next ignition sequence (with circuit 15R On).
