3	Remove bolts (1L, 1R) from left and right underfloor paneling

8	Mark propeller shaft (20)	Apply colored markings to denote the propeller shaft position relative to the transmission, rear-axle differential and the propeller shaft center support bearing (7) so that the factory installation position can be restored when installing.
9	Undo bolts on propeller shaft center support bearing (7) by several turns, but do not remove completely	Tighten bolts on propeller shaft center support bearing (7). While doing so, note the installation markings for the propeller shaft center support bearing (7).

10	Detach front flexible coupling (20V) from transmission	The front flexible coupling (20V) remains on the drive shaft (20). Note markings for installation position on front flexible coupling (20V).

12	Remove bolts from propeller shaft center support bearing (7) and remove drive shaft (20) downwards	Secure propeller shaft (20) against falling. Partially screw n bolts for propeller shaft center support bearing (7), do not tighten.
	Check
13	Check propeller shaft intermediate bearing (7) for wear and damage	If necessary ↓ Replace propeller shaft center support bearing (7)

15	Fill cavities in front and rear pilot bushing with multipurpose grease	When reusing pilot bushings.

16	Check front flexible coupling (20V) and rear flexible coupling (20H) of drive shaft (20) for wear, and replace, if necessary
