2	Only raise engine sufficiently until the engine mounts (5) are not under tension
3	Remove lower engine compartment paneling		AR61.20-P-1105LF
4	Secure radiator package against falling down	ENGINE 157, 278 in MODEL 217, 222 with CODE M005 (4MATIC)
5	Remove left and right catalytic converter		AR49.10-P-7100LF

11	Raise engine further	Ensure that during lifting that no cables and lines lie on the partition wall. Damage can occur to cables and lines otherwise.	AR33.10-P-0105LF
12.1	Remove screw/bolts (2) and remove left and right engine mount (5) to the rear	ENGINE 157, 278 in MODEL 217, 222 without CODE M005 (4MATIC) Always replace engine mount (5) in pairs. Pay attention to environmental protection regulations for disposal of engine mounts (5). Dispose of engine mounts (5) into mixed scrap.
