06.06.2014 Pressing in "a" from the front guide bushing to the joint flange   BE41.10-P-1001-04B

REMOVING Remove     
1 Remove propeller shaft (1)   AR41.10-P-0050LF 
INSPECT Check     
2 Check sealing lips on front or rear pilot bushing (10)    
3 Separate propeller shaft (1) at appropriate sliding connection    
4 Mark position of flexible coupling (12) relative to propeller shaft (1) using color markings (arrows)    
5 Remove flexible coupling (12)   AR41.10-P-0040-01LF
REFER TO SHOP-MADE TOOLS Drift for releasing the fitting sleeves in the flexible couplings   WF58.50-P-4110-01A
6 Remove pilot bushing (10)   AR41.10-P-0250-02LF
INSTALLING Install     
7 Press in pilot bushing (10)   AR41.10-P-0250-03LF

8 Pack cavity of front or rear pilot bushing (10) with grease    
REFER TO CAPACITIES & SPECIFICATIONS Multipurpose grease (NLGI Class 2)   Multipurpose grease (NLGI Class 2). See https://bevo.mercedes-benz.com/index.php?language_id=1
9 Install flexible coupling (12) IMPORTANT Reproduce the original installation position using the color markings. AR41.10-P-0040-01LF
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION MODEL 222 *BA41.10-P-1002-01J 
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION MODEL 222 *BA41.10-P-1001-01J 
10 Assemble propeller shaft (1) on appropriate sliding connection    
REFER TO CAPACITIES & SPECIFICATIONS Long-life grease (NLGI grade 2)   Long-life grease (NLGI grade 2). See https://bevo.mercedes-benz.com/index.php?language_id=1

11 Install propeller shaft (1)   AR41.10-P-0050LF
