	Remove/install
1	Shift automatic transmission to position "N"

4	Remove appropriate heat shields under propeller shaft (1)
5	Remove reinforcement (2)	Screw/bolt, center reinforcement to frame floor assembly	*BA61.10-P-1003-01K
6	Remove bolts from propeller shaft center support bearing (3)		AR41.40-P-0002-01LF

7	Detach and pull off flex disks (4) at transmission and rear axle differential		AR41.10-P-0040-01LF
	Drift for releasing the fitting sleeves in the flexible couplings		WF58.50-P-4110-01A
		Carefully remove flexible couplings (4). In order to prevent damage to pilot bushings. Flex disks (4) remain on the propeller shaft (1). MODEL 217	*BA41.10-P-1001-01L

8	Remove bolts from propeller shaft center support bearing (3) and remove drive shaft (1)	Turn in screws/bolts loosely and only tighten once the flex disks (4) at transmission and rear axle differential have been tightened. Vibrations in the drive train and damage may otherwise occur. Make sure that the halves or thirds of propeller shaft do not come apart at the slide joints. Otherwise damage will occur.

9	Check propeller shaft center support bearing (3)	If wear or damage is present:↓ Replace propeller shaft center support bearing (3).	AR41.40-P-0002LF
10	Check pilot bushings	If wear or damage is present: ↓ Replace pilot bushings.	AR41.10-P-0250LF
11	Check flex disks (4)	If wear or damage is present: ↓ Replace flexible couplings (4).
12	Install in the reverse order
