	Remove/install
	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1	Detach ground line from battery		AR54.10-P-0003GW
	Notes on battery		AH54.10-P-0001-01A
2	Remove center air vent		AR68.10-P-1150GW
3	Remove bolt (1)
4	Remove COMAND controller unit (A40/3)	The mounting bars (2) are loose and can fall when removing.
5	Disconnect optical fiber connector	Do not kink or stretch optical fiber. Install caps at optical fiber coupling and equipment connector: ↓
		Cover fiber optic cable and device terminal.	AR82.95-P-0005-01A
	Notes on fiber optic cable		AH82.70-P-0001-02A
6	Disconnect electrical connectors
7	Remove screws/bolts (3) and remove upper control panel control unit (N72/1)	When replacing the COMAND controller unit (A40/3)
8	Install in the reverse order
9	Read out and erase the fault memory using Star Diagnosis		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
