	Remove/install
	General information on the impact absorber		AH88.20-P-1000-01A
1	Disconnect battery ground cable	MODEL 166 with CODE U60 (Pedestrian protection)	AR54.10-P-0003GZ
2	Open engine hood		AR88.40-P-1000GQ
3	Remove cover (1)
4	Remove expansion rivet (2)
5	Detach left and right front section on fender liner in front fenders in area of bumper		AR88.10-P-1300GQ
6	Remove corresponding underfloor paneling		AR61.30-P-1001GQ
7	Disconnect electrical connectors (3)	The number of electrical connectors (3) differs depending on the vehicle equipment.
8	Unscrew bolts (5) on right and left fender flare	MODEL 166.874
9	Unscrew left and right bolt (4a)
10	Loosen left and right bolt (4b)	MODEL 166.8
11	Loosen left and right bolt (4c)
12	Unhook bumper at sides and remove toward front
13	Install in the reverse order
14	Adjust bumper		AR60.00-P-0700-01GQ
		Gap dimension	*BE60.00-P-1002-01Z
		Gap dimension	*BE60.00-P-1001-01Z
		Feeler gauge	Fig 3
15	Check PARKTRONIC operating state	MODEL 166 with CODE 220 (PARKTRONIC) with CODE 235 (Active Parking Assist) Switch on ignition and PARKTRONIC, engage reverse gear and release parking brake. PARKTRONIC automatically performs a self-test and operational readiness is signaled via the warning indicator.
16	Calibrate camera with STAR DIAGNOSIS
