MODIFICATION NOTES

26.1.10 Repair information for bolting of rear axle carrier's rubber mounts to frame floor assembly added INSTALLATION NOTES Caution: important note: It is mandatory for the thread in the frame floor assembly to be recut and blown out, as the remaining adhesive remains in the thread prevent the required preload force of the bolt being reached, despite the specified torque and specified angle of rotation being reached. If this is not observed, then the faulty bolt preload force will cause bending forces to act on the bolt, which could ultimately lead to bolt fracture.
REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install
DANGER Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
NOTES Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts   AH00.00-N-0001-01A

NOTES While working on the rear axle care must be taken to ensure that the surfaces of aluminum components do not get any scratches, cracks and notches. Otherwise the service life of the of the parts will be reduced.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Tighten nuts and bolts of chassis components only when vehicle is in the ready-to-drive condition.
