	Remove/install
	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
1	Remove air filter housing		AR09.10-P-1150CV
2	Unfasten electrical wiring harness for alternator, starter on cylinder head at front and middle
3	Remove screw/bolt (1) on the left and on the right heat shield (2) from the engine supports (4)
4	Remove screw/bolt (5) on the left and on the right engine mount (3) from the front axle carrier	Bolt, front engine mount to front axle carrier	*BA22.10-P-1002-03E

5	Remove left and right catalytic converter		AR49.10-P-7100CW
6	Remove the shield above the front axle transmission
7	Remove screw/bolt (6) on the left and on the right heat shield (2) from the engine supports (4)
8	Remove screw/bolt (7) on the left and on the right engine mount (3) from the front axle carrier	Bolt, front engine mount to front axle carrier	*BA22.10-P-1002-03E

10	Remove screw/bolt (8) on the left and right engine support (4) from the engine mounts (3)	Bolt, front engine mount to engine support	*BA22.10-P-1001-03E

11	Remove alternator screw/bolts		AR15.40-P-5032CV
		Attach alternator de-energized on the vehicle.
12	Mount engine hoist		AR33.10-P-0105CW
13	Raise engine slightly with engine hoist
14	Take out engine mount (3)	Always replace engine mounts in pairs. Take out the left engine mount (3) towards the bottom rear and the right engine mount (3) towards the top front. The anti-twist locks (11) of the engine mounts (3) must fit in the notches of the engine supports (4). Pay attention to environmental protection regulations for disposal of engine mounts (3). Dispose engine mounts (3) into mixed scrap.

15	Remove screw/bolt (10) on the refrigerant compressor (A9) from engine support (4)	Bolt, refrigerant compressor to timing case/crankcase/engine support	*BA83.55-P-1001-01M
16	Remove screw/bolts (9) from the cylinder crankcase and take out the engine support (4)	Take out the engine support (4) towards bottom rear.

17	Remove exhaust manifold		AR14.10-P-3915CWX
18	Remove screw/bolt from engine support (4) to front axle transmission	Collar bolt, front axle gear to engine support	*BA33.30-P-1007-03G
19	Remove screw/bolts (9) from the cylinder crankcase and take out the engine support (4)	Take out the engine support (4) towards the top front.

20	Install in the reverse order
