1	Switch off ignition

4	Clean traction system hydraulic unit (A7/3) in the area of the brake lines (1)	Before opening the brake system, the area around the separation point should be cleaned thoroughly. Even the smallest particles of dirt, introduced into the hydraulic components, can lead to malfunctions and a total failure of the SBC system.

5	Mark brake lines (1) for corresponding connection
6	Detach brake lines (1) on traction system hydraulic unit (A7/3)	Seal connections immediately. Otherwise, escaping brake fluid may damage adjacent components. Pay attention to stress/chafe-free routing of brake lines (1).

		Vehicles without code (233) DISTRONIC PLUS The work instructions for disconnecting the electrical connector (3) must be followed. Otherwise damage can occur on the locking mechanism. Do not touch, deform or damage electrical connector contacts (3) and jack. Do not allow any foreign objects, dirt or fluids in the electrical connector (3) or jack. 9	Remove traction system hydraulic unit (A7/3)
	Checking
10	Check rubber mount (4) on bracket (5)	Check the condition and whether there is any damage, replace if necessary.

11	Install in the reverse order
12	Calibrate the Electronic Stability Program control unit (N30/4) using STAR DIAGNOSIS	When replacing the traction system hydraulic unit (A7/3)	AD00.00-P-2000-04A
