| 1 | Remove head restraint drive from left or right front seat | AR91.29-P-1200SC | |
| 2 | Remove front seat release | AR91.10-P-1465SC | |
| 3 | Remove front seat sidebag unit and place to one side with wiring harness connected | AR91.60-P-0695SC | |
| 4 | Slide a suitable mat (2) between cover (5) and left and right trim ring (3), then rotate left and right trim ring (3) by 45° using pliers and remove | Pay attention to proper latching (arrows A) and to groove (arrow B) of trim rings (3) at head restraint guides. |

| 5 | Unhook left and right hook (4) from padding (8) on spring frame using a suitable tool | ||
| 6 | Unhook cover (5) from backrest frame (arrows) | ||
| 7 | Disconnect electrical connector for heated seats (9) | ||
| 8.1 | Disconnect electrical connector (6) | With code (401) Front deluxe seats, incl. seat heating and seat ventilation | |
| 9.1 | Disconnect electrical connector at dynamic seat control unit and disconnect pneumatic line for dynamic seat at connection piece | With code (432) Left and right dynamic multicontour seat | |
| 10 | Lift up padding (8) with cover (5) and guide seat belt through cover (5) and padding (8) | ||
| 11.1 | Guide seat ventilation wiring harness (7) through spring frame | With code (401) Front deluxe seats, incl. seat heating and seat ventilation | |
| 12.1 | Guide dynamic seat wiring harness and pneumatic line for dynamic seat through spring frame | With code (432) Left and right dynamic multicontour seat | |
| 13 | Remove padding (8) with cover (5) | ||
| 14 | Install in the reverse order |
