| 1 | Open sliding roof paneling (14). | ||
| 2 | Completely lower left and right rear side window. | ||
| 3 | Remove left and right sun visor (2) with counterbearing. | ||
| 4 | Remove overhead control panel control unit (N70) | AR82.20-P-1000SX | |
| 5 | Remove inside rearview mirror unit (A67) | ||
| 6 | Remove inside rearview mirror bracket (3) | ||
| 7 | Unclip cover (4) from rain/light sensor (B38/2) | *110589035900 | |
| 8.1 | Remove night view assist camera cover (5). | with code (610) Night view assist | |
| 9 | Disconnect electrical connector (6) from rain/light sensor (B38/2). | ||
| 10 | Remove left and right A-pillar paneling (7) | ||
| 11 | Remove both grab handles (8). | ||
| 12 | Remove left coat hook lamp (E15/24) and right coat hook lamp (E15/25). | AR82.20-P-0113SC | |
| 13 | Remove rear shelf paneling | AR68.30-P-4580SC | |
| 14 | Expose electrical connector (arrow) on headliner wiring harness (10) and disconnect. | C-pillar below the damping material of the rear shelf. |

| 15 | Remove left and right check strap (9) form C-pillar. | *BA91.60-P-1002-01L | |
| 16 | Unclip headliner (1) downward from sliding roof frame. | ||
| 17 | Detach headliner (1) on Velcro strips (11) and retaining clip (12) from roof paneling. | ||
| 18 | Remove headliner (1) from vehicle with aid of helper. | ||
| 19.1 | Prepare roof paneling (1) for installation | Model 216.371, when replacing headliner (1) | AR68.30-P-4305SC |
| 20 | Install in the reverse order |
