Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. 1	Fill reservoir (1) of power steering pump	Fill up to approx. 10 mm below top edge of reservoir.

	Bleeding
2	Start engine 2 to 3 times	The steering system bleeds itself automatically.
3	When the engine is running, turn the steering wheel several times from end stop to end stop	The power steering pump must not suction any air, if necessary refill with MB steering gear oil.
	Checking
4	Check power steering oil level and correct if necessary		AP46.00-D-4611A
5	Check steering system for leaks when engine is running
