	Remove/install
1	Retract step plate of step (1)
2	Switch off ignition
3	Raise vehicle		AR00.60-D-1000H
4	Disconnect electrical connection (2)
5	Secure step (1) against falling down
6	Hold nuts and unscrew bolts (3, 4)
	Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts		AH00.00-N-0001-01A
		Removal: Mark installation position of thrust pieces (5) and screws (4).
		Installation: Observe marking of thrust pieces (5) and screws (4). Uniformly tighten bolts (3, 4) with new nuts.

7	Remove step (1)	Step (1) and housing form one unit.
8	Install in the reverse order
	Check
9	Perform function test
