	Remove/install
	Risk of explosion  caused by oxyhydrogen gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns  caused by swallowing battery acid. Risk of injury  caused by burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries	No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking. Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and glasses. Only pour battery acid into suitable and appropriately marked containers.	AS54.10-Z-0001-01A

1	Disconnect ground line from the on-board electrical system battery and ground line (1) from the starter battery (G1/4)		AR54.10-P-0003R
2	Remove ventilation grille (5) on air inlet	Unclip both catch hooks on the vent grille (5).
3	Remove retaining bracket (4)
4	Lift off cover (3) of positive terminal
5	Slacken nut and disconnect positive line (2) from starter battery (G1/4)	Installation:  Ensure that the positive line (2) is seated firmly, otherwise the positive terminal may be damaged.
6	Remove starter battery (G1/4)	If the starter battery (G1/4)is replaced, the venting reservoir must be modified.
7	Install in the reverse order
