DANGER Risk of injury  to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning  from swallowing coolant. Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

REMOVING Remove     
1 Remove bottom engine compartment paneling   AR61.20-P-1105SX
2 Drain coolant out of the cooling system   AR20.00-P-1142SX
  Remove power electronics for circulation pump 1 (M13/8)     
3 Disconnect electrical connection from the power electronics circulation pump 1 (M13/8) and set aside    
4 Unclip power electronics circulation pump 1 (M13/8) from the bracket    
5 Disconnect coolant lines and detach from power electronics circulation pump 1 (M13/8) SPECIAL TOOL Clamp Fig 2
6 Remove power electronics circulation pump 1 (M13/8)    
7 Modify bracket for power electronics circulation pump 1 (M13/8) For replacement of the power electronics circulation pump 1 (M13/8)  
8 Installation of the power electronics circulation pump 1 (M13/8) in reverse order    
  Remove power electronics for circulation pump 2 (M13/9)     
9 Disconnect electrical connection from the power electronics circulation pump 2 (M13/9) and set aside    
10 Unclip power electronics circulation pump 2 (M13/9) from bracket    
11 Disconnect coolant lines and detach from power electronics circulation pump 2 (M13/9) SPECIAL TOOL Clamp Fig 2
12 Remove power electronics circulation pump 2 (M13/9)    
13 Modify bracket for power electronics circulation pump 2 (M13/9) For replacement of the power electronics circulation pump 2 (M13/9)  
14 Installation of the power electronics circulation pump 2 (M13/9) in reverse order    
INSTALLING Install     
15 Fill cooling system and bleed.   AR20.00-P-1142SX
DANGER Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
16 Perform engine test run and inspect cooling system for leaktightness
17 Install lower engine compartment paneling   AR61.20-P-1105SX
