	Remove/install
	Risk of injury  caused by performing testing or repair work on airbag or emergency tensioning retractor units.	Store airbag units with deployment side facing up; do not expose to temperatures greater than 100 °C. When working on these units, disconnect the power supply.	AS91.00-Z-0001-01A
1	Remove crank window on left and right front door (1)		AR72.10-P-1900SX
2	Disconnect battery ground line		AR54.10-P-0003SX
3	Remove paneling (3)
4	Remove screws/bolts (4)		*BA72.10-P-1006-01Q
5	Remove outer door handle from front door (1)		AR72.10-P-2400SX
6	Take off gaskets (5)
7	Loosen bolts (6), slide bearing bracket (7) toward front and unhook front door (1).
8	Disconnect door wiring harness (8) from left front door control unit (N69/1) or right front door control unit (N69/2) and from vehicle wiring harnesses (9)
9	Unclip clip (10)
10	Unscrew bolt (11) and remove left front door control unit (N69/1) or right front door control unit (N69/2) and lay down to side.	Do not disconnect vehicle wiring harnesses (9) from left front door control unit (N69/1) or right front door control unit (N69/2)

11.1	Cut rivet heads out of rivets (12, 13)	As of 1.2.2009, the door module is screwed to the inner door panel.

		Fasten door module (2) to front door (1) with new rivets (12, 13). Then apply sealant glue to rivet heads (13). Hand riveting tool	Fig 4

11.2	Unscrew bolts	When screwing in the screws, start them by hand, otherwise, the thread in the inner door panel could be damaged. If a door module is installed in a new door, screw in the screws with a battery-powered screwdriver. Do not tilt screw more than 10 degrees when screwing in, otherwise, leakage may occur between the door module and inner door panel. Always replace screws. Screws with larger diameter are available from the Parts Department to replace stripped screws.
12	Remove door holder		AR72.10-P-2100SX
13	Loosen door module (2) from front door (1) and remove	Do not bend door module (2). Replace door module (2) if bent.
14	Press rivet residues out of rivets (12, 13)	On riveted door modules.

15	Completely remove rivet residues and drilling chips from front door (1).	Completely remove rivet residues on riveted door modules. Remaining rivet residues cause corrosion damage.
16	Install in the reverse order
