Cover window frame on front door with leather - AR72.10-P-0600SXS

	Removing
1.1	Completely lower crank window in left or right front door	On vehicles with hydraulic power windows.
2.1	Remove inner door panel on front door	On vehicles with hydraulic power windows.	AR72.10-P-0104SXS
2.2	Remove window on left or right front door	On vehicles without hydraulic power windows.
3	Pull seal (2) off window frame
4	Remove mirror triangle armor plate (3)
5	Remove door frame seal on front door		AR72.10-P-2120SXS
6	Pull leather (1) off window frame
7	Clean adhesive areas of seal (2) and leather (1) on window frame	Pure benzine/benzine	*BR00.45-Z-1048-04A
	Cover window frame
8	Lay out leather (1) with rear on suitable surface
9	Draw marking (4) with an interval of approx. 2 cm from inner edge on outside of leather (1)	The marking (4) indicates the inner adhesive edge of the leather (1) at the bottom edge of the window frame.
10	Coat rear of leather (1) and adhesive area on window frame over entire surface with MB special adhesive	MB special adhesive	*BR00.45-Z-1002-02A
11	Position leather (1) with marking (4) on inner edge of window frame at rear corner (arrow) and smooth in both directions from the corner with suitable tool	Ensure that bonding is wrinkle-free.
12	Bond leather (1) to inside area of window frame. Then turn over on upper edge, again starting at rear corner (arrow) and smooth starting from the corner	Ensure that bonding is wrinkle-free.
13	Bond leather (1) to window frame section for section and step for step and smooth with suitable tool	Ensure that bonding is wrinkle-free.
14	Draw a marking (5) outside of leather (1) at a distance of approx. 14 mm from the upper inner edge of the window frame
15	Cut off leather (1) along marking (5) with suitable blade	Repair paint damage to window frame with suitable touch-up paint pen.
16	Adapt leather (1) to contours of window frame in area of mirror triangle and cut to match course of window frame (picture A)	Ensure that bonding is wrinkle-free.
17	Adapt leather (1) to contours of window frame in rear area of window frame and cut to match course of window frame (picture B)	Ensure that bonding is wrinkle-free.
18	Coat inside of window frame and rear of leather (1) with MB special adhesive	MB special adhesive	*BR00.45-Z-1002-02A
19	Turn over leather (1) on inner edge of window frame to outside, smooth with suitable tool and cut off along outer edge	Ensure that bonding is wrinkle-free.
	Install
20	Clean adhesive area of door frame seal on window frame	Pure benzine/benzine	*BR00.45-Z-1048-04A
21	Install mirror triangle armor plate (3)		*BA72.10-P-1009-01R
22	Glue on seal (2) onto window frame	MB special adhesive	*BR00.45-Z-1002-02A
23	Install door frame seal on front door		AR72.10-P-2120SXS
24.1	Install inner door panel on front door	On vehicles with hydraulic power windows.	AR72.10-P-0104SXS
24.2	Install front door window	On vehicles without hydraulic power windows.
25.1	Close crank window	On vehicles with hydraulic power windows.
