	Install
2	Install COMAND operating, display and controller unit (A40/3)		AR82.60-P-7502GZ
3	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
4	Enter special equipment in the vehicle data card and in the vehicle's online data card	Enter code (527) COMAND APS (with navigation) and delete code of removed audio component. ↓
		Initial startup of retrofits and modifications	AN00.01-P-1001-01V
5	Perform retrofit variant coding	Listed control units must be SCN coded using the Diagnosis Assistance System: Instrument cluster and depending upon the installed variant COMAND operating, display and controller unit (A40/3).
6	Close STAR DIAGNOSIS		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
7	Document retrofitted equipment using vehicle documentation (VeDoc)	Attach "COMAND APS (with navigation) retrofitted as per AN82.85-P-0006GZB " note under field organization texts to design group 82.
8	Perform function test
