	Removing
	Risk of injury  caused by moving parts that can pinch, crush  or, in extreme cases, even sever  extremities	No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating range of the mechanism when moving components.	AS00.00-Z-0009-01A
1	Remove wideband silencer	Engine 271.9	AR09.41-P-6825CW
2	Reduce tension on poly-V belt (1), remove and reduce tension on tensioner pulley (2)	To do this use the Torx recess (3) under the tensioner pulley (2).
	Checking
3	Check profile of belt pulley and poly-V belt tensioning device (4) for damage and soiling
4	Check poly-V belt (1) for wear and damage and replace if necessary
	Check visible area of poly-V belt for wear	Model 204	AP13.22-P-1352CW

		Model 172	AP13.22-P-1352V
	Only perform steps 5 through 8 for removal/installation of poly-V belt tensioning device (4)
5.1	Remove compressor	Engine 271.9	AR09.50-P-4705CW
5.2	Remove intake manifold	Engine 271.8	AR09.20-P-1310EVO
6	Remove bolt (5) and poly-V belt tensioning device (4)		*BA13.25-P-1001-01I
	Checking
7	Check poly-V belt tensioning device (4) for damage and soiling; replace if necessary
8	Install in the reverse order
	Install
9	Fit on and tension (1) as per routing diagram and tension	To do this use the Torx recess (3) under the tensioner pulley (2). Do not use wax or similar products, as this may cause poly-V belt (1) to slip.	AR13.22-P-3902-02QP
10	Install wide band silencer	Engine 271.9	AR09.41-P-6825CW
	Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
11	Carry out engine test run
