Remove expansion lock (1) |
To do so, open the expansion lock (1) and push out of the rear brake cable (4).
Apply light coating of grease to slide surfaces on expansion lock (1). |

Unclip guide (8) |
To unclip, squeeze the lock tabs on the guide (8) together. |

Squeeze retaining ring (9) together and unclip from bracket together with cable sheathing (5) |

Open plastic holder (10) and remove rear brake cable (4) together with cable sheathing (5) |
The distance from the plastic holder (10) to the outer tie rod end must be 76 mm and the cable sheathing (5) must not rub against the plastic holder (10) when the brake is in its released state, otherwise the plastic holder (10) could open by itself when the brake is applied or released. |
