	Remove/install
	Risk of injury  caused by fingers being pinched or crushed  when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lids, tailgates or sliding roof.	Keep body parts and limbs well clear of moving parts.	AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
1	Open engine hood and raise to vertical position	After closing the engine hood check the locking function, for this step pull engine hood jerkily to the top.	AR88.40-P-1000GZ
2.1	Removes spring dome strut	Only for model 164.8 Remove spring dome strut at spring dome mounts.	AR62.30-P-2500GY
3	Detach engine cover (1) upwards (arrows) from bolt (3) and remove	Cover guides (2) with lubricant.
		Antifriction agent	*BR00.45-Z-1010-06A
4	Install in the reverse order
