	Remove
	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1	Remove center console (1)
2	Remove telephone console (2) from center console (1)	The telephone console (2) is installed back into the center console (1) when the media interface wiring harness is installed.
3	Remove AUX jack electrical connector from center console (1)	The electrical connector is no longer required.
4	Remove AUX jack wiring harness from center console
5	Remove radio
6	Remove glove box
7	Remove right front door sill
8	Remove footrest for front passenger footwell	To do so, fold floor covering to rear.
9	Remove A-pillar paneling at bottom right
10	Remove right lower B-pillar paneling
11	Remove right rear door sill molding
12	Remove rear seat cushion
13.1	Remove right side bolster from rear seat backrest	Vehicles with  code (287) Through-loading feature
13.2	Remove rear seat backrest	Vehicles without  code (287) Through-loading feature
14.1	Remove right side cover in the trunk	Model 204.0
14.2	Remove interior trim for cargo area at right	Model 204.2

15	Prepare media interface power supply wiring harness		AN82.60-P-0016-04FH

16	Retrofit media interface wiring harness	In vehicles with  one of the following codes: Code (218) Reversing camera Code (510) Audio 20 with CD changer Code (512) COMAND APS with DVD changer code (527) COMAND APS with single DVD drive (with navigation system)	AN82.60-P-0016-02FHA

24	Connect Star Diagnosis and select vehicle via the vehicle identification number (VIN)
25	Perform variant coding with XENTRY using the software calibration number (SCN)	Variant coding with XENTRY using the software calibration number (SCN) must be carried out consecutively for the following control units. "Media interface control unit (N125/1)" Instrument cluster
26	Activate media interface
27	Disconnect Star Diagnosis
28	Run function check on media interface	The AUX connection electrical connector that is installed as standard no longer works. The information on the media interface is displayed on the instrument cluster.
