INSPECT Check
DANGER Risk of injury  to skin and eyes caused by scalding from contact with hot coolant spray.
Risk of poisoning  from swallowing coolant.
Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage bottles.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and eye protection.

1 Switch on ignition
2 Open engine hood   AR88.40-P-1000V
3 Screw off cap slightly at coolant expansion reservoir (2) IMPORTANT 2-stage cap: Rotate cap half a revolution in an anti-clockwise direction and release pressure relief.
4 Unscrew cap.
5 Set heating switches to maximum heating capacity
6 Check coolant level IMPORTANT If the antifreeze protection of the coolant is inadequate, either antifreeze must be topped up, or the coolant must be replaced: ↓
    Drain coolant, fill.
