"Disconnect/connect battery ground line" removed

	Remove/install
1.1	Transfer basic data of left door control unit (N69/1) or right door control unit (N69/2) to STAR DIAGNOSIS	Only when replacing left door control unit (N69/1) or right door control unit (N69/2). Installation:  Transfer basic data from STAR DIAGNOSIS to left door control unit (N69/1) or right door control unit (N69/2).
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
		STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnosis system	*WE58.40-Z-1013-06A
2	Remove door lining from left or right front door		AR72.10-P-1000V
3	Remove clip (2) with suitable pliers and route lines (3) behind flap (4) of door foil (5).
4	Disconnect electrical connectors (6) from left door control unit (N69/1) or am right door control unit (N69/2)	Number of electrical connectors (6) depends on equipment
5	Loosen door foil (5) with suitable tool until left door control unit (N69/1) or right door control unit (N69/2) are accessible	Carefully loosen door foil (5) to prevent damaging paint on front door Installation:  If the glue bead on the door foil (5) is partially damaged, repair damaged section with butyl cord Route new butyl cord parallel to damaged glue bead on door foil (5).Remove glue residues from front door and clean bonding surfaces. Roll on door foil (5) with roller.

6	Press retaining clamps (1) on left door control unit (N69/1) or right door control unit (N69/2) together with suitable pliers and remove left door control unit (N69/1) or right door control unit (N69/2)
7	Install in the reverse order
