Remove/install Parktronic system (PTS) sensors in front bumper - AR54.65-P-0001R

MODEL 230.4 with CODE (220) Parktronic System (PTS)

	Remove/install
	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1.1	Remove ram strip (1) from front bumper (2)	On vehicles up to 28.2.06	AR88.80-P-2220R
1.2	Remove front bumper (2).	On vehicles as of 1.3.06	AR88.20-P-2000R
2.1	Expose sensor (A42b1, A42b2, A42b3, A42b4, A42b5 or. A42b6) and disconnect electrical connector	On vehicles as of 1.3.06
3.1	Release lugs (3) using the release tool towards the direction of the arrow and remove sensors (A42b1, A42b2, A42b3, A42b4, A42b5, A42b6)	For vehicles up to 28.1.08 without code (809) Model year 2009 Installation:  Check sealing ring (4) and replace if damaged.

3.2	Unclip sensor (A42b1, A42b2, A42b3, A42b4, A42b5, A42b6) by hand from front bumper (2) and remove	For vehicles as of 29.1.08 or with code (809) Model year 2009 Unclip sensor (A42b1, A42b2, A42b3, A42b4, A42b5, A42b6) at lugs (3). Installation:  Check sealing ring (4) and replace if damaged.
4	Install in the reverse order
