| 7 | Close engine hood (1) and lay down on stop buffers (6). | ||
| 8 | Check transition of engine hood (1) to front fenders and engine hood gap (1) to headlamp. If required, loosen nuts (7) and adjust height of stop buffers (6) | ||

| 12 | Close engine hood (1) and ensure that engine hood locks (10) arrest. For this purpose pull engine hood (1) upward with a jerk. | ||
| 13 | Unlock engine hood (1) and check arrest of safety hook (11) on radiator crossmember (12) | ||
| 14 | Repair paint damage on bolts (3, 5) and adjustment nuts (9) with touch-up pencil |
