Remove/install engine hood catch - AR88.40-P-3200T

MODIFICATION NOTES

28.1.04 Disconnect/connect ground line on battery
REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/Install     
DANGER Risk of injury to fingers being jammed or pinched  when Remove/install or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/tailgate or sliding roof. When moving components, ensure that no body parts or limbs are within the operating range of moving parts. AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
1 Open engine hood IMPORTANT See Operating Instructions  
2 Unhook release cable (3) from left engine hood catch (1)    
3 Unscrew bolts (4) and remove left engine hood catch (1) from radiator cross member (5) upward TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA88.40-P-1003-01A 
4.1 Disconnect electrical connector (6) from right engine hood catch (2) On vehicles with code (551a) Anti-theft alarm (ATA)  
5 Unclip outer sleeve mount (7) from release cable (3) on right engine hood catch (2)    
6 Unscrew bolts (8) and remove right engine hood catch (2) from radiator cross member (5) upward TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA88.40-P-1003-01A 
7 Unhook release cable (3) from right engine hood catch (2) and remove right engine hood catch (2)    
8 Unscrew nuts (9) and remove retaining hook (10) TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA88.40-P-1009-01A 
9 Install in the reverse order
