| Risk of injury to skin and eyes caused by scalding from contact with hot coolant spray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant. | Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses. |

| 2 | Remove rear section of fender liner in right front fender | AR88.10-P-1300R | |
| 3 | Pull out windshield washer fluid pump (M5/1) and HCS (SRA) pump (M5/2) complete with hoses and electrical connections upward and out of washer fluid reservoir (1) | ||
| 4 | Disconnect connecting pipe (4) from filler neck (2), then push connecting pipe (4) into washer fluid reservoir (1) | ||
| 5.1 | Detach coolant hoses (5) from washer fluid heater (6) | For vehicles with code (875) Heated windshield washer system, if coolant hoses (5) are secured with clamps (picture A). |

| 5.2 | Detach coolant hoses (5) from washer fluid heater (6) using detaching tool (7) | For vehicles with code (875) Heated windshield washer system, if coolant hoses (5) are secured with quick-release fittings (picture B). |

| 6 | Disconnect electrical connector at the switch of the windshield washer system fluid level control (S42) | ||
| 7 | Unscrew bolt (3). | ||
| 8 | Take out washer fluid reservoir (1) | ||

| 10 | Check coolant level, adjust to correct level if necessary. | ||
