	Removal
1	Remove lining at front door (1)		AR72.10-P-1000T
2	Remove speaker grille (2)	Mounting wedge	Figure
3.1	Disconnect electrical connector from remote trunk lid release switch (S15/1), unscrew bolt located at side and remove remote trunk lid release switch (S15/1)	Driver's side only.
4.1	Remove mat cover (4)	On Model 211.0/2 with code (413) Panoramic sliding roof or with code (414a) Electric glass sliding roof or with code (954a) Avantgarde or on MODEL 211.0/2/6 with code (955a) Elegance	AR72.10-P-1030-01T
5.1	Remove retainers (6) and remove air duct (5)	On vehicles with code (581b) Comfort automatic air conditioning
6	Remove lens from left front door entrance/exit lamp (E17/3) or right front door entrance/exit lamp (E17/4) with suitable tool
7	Remove left front door entrance/exit lamp (E17/3) or right front door entrance/exit lamp (E17/4)
8	Remove lens from left front door warning lamp (E17/19) or right front door warning lamp (E17/21) with suitable tool
9	Remove left front door warning lamp (E17/19) or right front door warning lamp (E17/21)
10	Lay ribbon cable (7) and wiring harness (8) down to side
11	Unscrew bolts (9) from door pocket (3)
12	Separate plastic bonding nubs (arrows) from door pocket (3)	Do not operate at excessive speed because the plastic becomes too hot, melts and galls the saw blade	*WH58.30-Z-1003-20A

13	Remove door pocket (3)	Door pocket (3) must be replaced.
14	Remove mounting clips (10)
	Installation
15	Install mounting clips (10)	Replace defective mounting clips (10)
16	Install door pocket (3)
17	Screw bolts (9) of door pocket (3)
18	Install thin washer (11) as spacer on plastic bolts (12)
19	Cut off plastic bolts (12)	Support trim with suitable subsurface and press assembly together in area of plastic bolts (12). Otherwise the plastic bolts (12) are not cut to the correct length and the components are too loose. Cut plastic bolts (12) off directly above the thin washer (11)	*WH58.30-Z-1003-20A

20	Screw bolts (13) with thick washers (14) into cut plastic bolts (12)	Ensure that thick washer (14) is seated correctly
21	Route ribbon cable (7) and wiring harness (8) and fasten
22	Install left front door warning lamp (E17/19) and right front door warning lamp (E17/21) and lens
23	Install left front door entrance/exit lamp (E17/3) and right front door entrance/exit lamp (E17/4) and lens
24.1	Install trunk lid release switch (S15/1), screw switch and connect electrical connector to trunk lid release switch (S15/1)	Driver's side only.
25.1	Install air duct (5)	On vehicles with code (581b) Comfort automatic air conditioning Replace damaged retainers (6).
26.1	Install mat cover (4)	On Model 211.0/2 with code (413) Panoramic sliding roof or with code (414a) Electric glass sliding roof or with code (954a) Avantgarde or on Model 211.0/2/6 with code (955a) Elegance	AR72.10-P-1030-01T
27	Install speaker grille (2)
28	Install door lining (1) on front door		AR72.10-P-1000T
