	Remove
1	Remove door lining (1) from rear door		AR72.12-P-1010T
2.1	Remove mat cover (3)	Only on vehicles with code (413) Panoramic sliding roof or Code (414a) Electric glass tilting/sliding roof or Code (954a) Avantgarde or Code (955a) Elegance	AR72.12-P-1040-01T
3	Remove ribbon cable (4) from cable rear module (5)
4	Unscrew bolts from (6) cable rear module (5)
5	Separate plastic bonding nubs (arrows) from rear cable (5), unclip rear cable (5) and remove	Do not operate at excessive speed because the plastic becomes too hot, melts and galls the saw blade	*WH58.30-Z-1003-20A

6	Remove cover (7) from armrest (2)
7	Unscrew bolts (8, 9) from armrest (2)
8	Move armrest (2) out of door lining (1) from front and toward rear	Slightly bend door lining (1) open to facilitate removal and move fastening shackles over latching hooks.
9.1	Disconnect electrical connector from left rear power window switch (S21/3) or right rear power window switch (S21/4), unscrew bolt at side and remove left rear power window switch (S21/3) or right rear power window switch (S21/4)	When replacing armrest (2), on vehicles without code (872) Electric heated seat for left and right rear seat
9.2	Disconnect electrical connector from left rear heated seat/power window switch group (S51/3) or right rear heated seat/power window switch group (S51/4), unscrew bolt at side and remove left rear heated seat/power window switch group (S51/3) or right rear heated seat/power window switch group (S51/4)	When replacing armrest (2), on vehicles with code (872) Electric heated seat for left and right rear seat
	Install
10.1	Install left rear heated seat/power window switch group (S51/3) or right rear heated seat/power window switch group (S51/4), screw switch group and connect electrical connector to switch group	When replacing armrest (2), on vehicles with code (872) Electric heated seat for left and right rear seat
10.2	Install left rear power window switch (S21/3) or right rear power window switch (S21/4), screw switch group and connect electrical connector to switch group connection.	When replacing armrest (2), on vehicles without code (872) Electric heated seat for left and right rear seat
11	Move armrest (2) into door lining (1) from rear toward front	Slightly bend door lining (1) open to facilitate installation and move fastening shackles over latching hooks.
12	Screw in bolts (8, 9) of armrest (2)
13	Insert cover (7) into armrest (2)
14	Clip in cable rear module (5)
15	Screw bolts (10) from mounting kit into cable rear module (5)
16	Screw bolt (11) and washer from mounting kit in cable rear module (5)	Press sufficient cavity into remaining plastic bonding bolt with sharp object so that bolt (11) can cut into the plastic.
17	Screw in bolts (6) of cable rear module (5)
18	Hook ribbon cable (4) into cable rear module (5)
19.1	Install mat cover (3)	Only on vehicles with code (413) Panoramic sliding roof or Code (414a) Electric glass tilting/sliding roof or Code (954a) Avantgarde or Code (955a) Elegance	AR72.12-P-1040-01T
20	Install door lining (1) on front door		AR72.12-P-1010T
