	Removal
1	Remove lining at front door (1)		AR72.10-P-1000T
2.1	Remove mat cover (3)	On Model 211.0/2 with code (413) Panoramic sliding roof or with code (414a) Electric glass sliding roof or with code (954a) Avantgarde or on Model 211.0/2/6 with code (955a) Elegance	AR72.10-P-1030-01T
3.1	Remove retainers (5) and air duct (4)	On vehicles with code (581b) Comfort automatic air conditioning
4	Remove ribbon cable (6) from cable rear module (7)
5	Unscrew bolts (8) from cable rear module (7)
6	Separate plastic bonding nubs (arrows) from rear cable (7), unclip rear cable (7) and remove	Do not operate at excessive speed because the plastic becomes too hot, melts and galls the saw blade

7	Remove cover (9) from armrest (2)
8	Unscrew bolts (10, 11) from armrest (2)
9	Move armrest (2) out of door lining (1) from front and toward rear	Bend door lining (1) to slight arch to facilitate removal and guide fastening shackle over catch hook
10.1	Remove driver-side power window switch group (S20/1) or passenger-side power window switch group (S21/2)	When replacing armrest (2).
	Installation
11.1	Install driver-side power window switch group (S20/1) or passenger-side power window switch group (S21/2)	When replacing armrest (2).
12	Install armrest (2) in door lining (1) from rear toward front	Bend door lining (1) to slight arch to facilitate removal and guide fastening shackles over catch hook
13	Screw bolts (10, 11) into armrest (2)
14	Insert cover (9) into armrest (2)
15	Clip in cable rear module (7)
16	Screw bolts (12) from mounting kit into cable rear module (7)
17	Screw bolt (13) and washer from mounting kit into cable rear module (7)	Press sufficient cavity into remaining plastic bonding bolt with suitable tool so that bolt (13) can cut into the plastic.
18	Screw bolts (8) of cable rear module (7)
19	Hook ribbon cable (6) into cable rear module (7)
20.1	Install air duct (4)	On vehicles with code (581b) Comfort automatic air conditioning Replace damaged retainers (5).
21.1	Install mat cover (3)	On Model 211.0/2 with code (413) Panoramic sliding roof or with code (414a) Electric glass sliding roof or with code (954a) Avantgarde or on Model 211.0/2/6 with code (955a) Elegance	AR72.10-P-1030-01T
22	Install door lining (1) on front door		AR72.10-P-1000T
