Remove/install panoramic roof wind deflector - AR77.21-P-0100TA

	Remove/install
	Risk of injury  caused by fingers being pinched or crushed  when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lids, liftgates or sliding roof	Keep body parts and limbs well clear of moving parts.	AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
1	Open panoramic roof
2	Loosen headliner in front area until electrical lines (9, 12) are accessible		AR68.30-P-4300TB
3	Remove cable ties (8)
4	Disconnect electrical connector (10)
5	Expose electrical line (9)
6	Expose electric wiring harness (11)
7	Disconnect solar cell connector (G6x1)
8	Remove insulation tape from electric wiring harness (11) and remove electrical line (12) from electric wiring harness (11)
9	Press plug contact of electrical line (12) out of plug of solar cell connector (G6x1)	Commercially available pressing tools for E95, SPT and MPT contacts
10	Remove grommet (13) on left and right side of vehicle	Installation:  Ensure that grommet (13) is seated correctly to prevent leakage.
11	Remove adhesive pad (14) on left and right side of vehicle	Installation:  Clean bonding surface.
		Cleaner	*BR00.45-Z-1025-04A
12	Remove ornamental frame on windshield.	Installation:  Ensure that seal (3) is seated correctly below ornamental frame.	AR67.10-P-1200T
13	Cover left and right guide rail in area of pivot arm (2) with clean rag
14	Remove circlip (5) on left and right pivot arm (2) and press out bolt (6)	Installation:  The bolt (6) should not have perceptible play in the bearing bushing (7); if necessary, replace bearing bushing (7), bolt (6) and circlip (5). Lubricate pin (6). Special sliding roof antifriction agent	*BR00.45-Z-1055-06A
15	Unscrew bolts (4) on left and right side of wind deflector (1)
16	Remove wind deflector (1)	Seal (3) can be bonded to windshield. Carefully loosen wind deflector (1) to prevent damaging seal (3).
17	Install in the reverse order
