	Remove
1	Remove door lining (1) from rear door		AR72.12-P-1010T
2.1	Remove mat cover (4)	Only on vehicles with code (413) Panoramic sliding roof or Code (414a) Electric glass tilting/sliding roof or Code (954a) Avantgarde or Code (955a) Elegance	AR72.12-P-1040-01T
3	Remove speaker grille (3)	Mounting wedge	Figure
4	Disconnect electrical connector from tweeter (5) and unclip tweeter (5)
5	Remove lens from left rear door entrance/exit lamp (E17/5) or right rear door entrance/exit lamp (E17/6) with suitable tool
6	Remove left rear door entrance/exit lamp (E17/5) or right rear door entrance/exit lamp (E17/6)
7	Remove lens from left rear door warning lamp (E17/20) or right rear door warning lamp (E17/22) with suitable tool
8	Remove left rear door warning lamp (E17/20) or right rear door warning lamp (E17/22)
9	Lay ribbon cable (6) down to side
10	Unscrew bolts (7, 8) from door pocket (2)
11	Separate plastic bonding nubs (arrows) from door pocket (2)	Do not operate at excessive speed because the plastic becomes too hot, melts and galls the saw blade	*WH58.30-Z-1003-20A

12	Remove door pocket (2)	Door pocket (2) must be replaced.
13	Remove mounting clips (9)
	Install
14	Install mounting clips (9)	Replace defective mounting clips (9)
15	Install door pocket (2)
16	Unscrew bolts (7, 8) from door pocket (2)
17	Install thin washers (10) as spacer on plastic bolts (11)
18	Cut off plastic bolts (11)	Support paneling with suitable subsurface and press assembly together in area of plastic bolts (11). Otherwise the plastic bolts (11) are not cut to the correct length and the components are too loose. Cut plastic bolts (11) off directly above the thin washer (10).	*WH58.30-Z-1003-20A

19	Screw bolts (12) with thicker washers (13) into cut plastic bolts (11)	Ensure that thick washers (13) seated correctly
20	Route ribbon cable (6) and fasten
21	Install left rear door warning lamp (E17/20) or right rear door warning lamp (E17/22) and associated lens
22	Install left rear door entrance/exit lamp (E17/5) or right rear door entrance/exit lamp (E17/6) and associated lens
23	Clip in tweeter (5) and connect electrical connector to tweeter (5)
24	Install speaker grate (3)
25.1	Install mat cover (4)	Only on vehicles with code (413) Panoramic sliding roof or Code (414a) Electric glass tilting/sliding roof or Code (954a) Avantgarde or Code (955a) Elegance	AR72.12-P-1040-01T
