Function prerequisites 

• Circuit 15R ON or
• Circuit 15 ON or
• Driver's door open
• No overvoltage or undervoltage
• Position measurement values not valid
• EIS control module (N73) sends valid memory block number

Function 

The stored positions for the electrically adjustable and heated exterior rearview mirror, left (M21/1) and right (M21/2) can be called with the front left seat adjustment switch group (S91/2). For this purpose, press and hold down the corresponding button for memory button 1, 2, 3 switch (S91/2s14) on the front left seat adjustment switch group (S91/2).

The rearview mirrors then move to the exterior rearview mirror position stored in the front left door control module (N69/1) and right (N69/2).

The mirror up/down adjustment motors as well as the mirror in/out adjustment motors are actuated as long as the corresponding button on memory button 1, 2, 3 switch (S91/2s14) is held down or until the position to be set is recognized by the position measurement.

When the stored exterior rearview mirror positions are called, the steering column and driver's seat also move to the associated stored positions.
