Unlock "Selective"

Transmitter key (A8/1) set to "selective" unlocking

When the button "Unlock vehicle" is actuated once, the transmitter key (A8/1) transmits a signal to the corresponding receiver in the vehicle via radio and infrared signals. They receive the signal and relay it to the EIS control module (N73) via the passenger compartment CAN bus

The electronic ignition/starter switch control module (N73) checks the access authorization. If the access authorization is valid, the EIS control module (N73) transmits the command for selective unlocking to the left front door control module (N69/1) and rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2) via the CAN interior compartment This activates locking of the driver's door and fuel filler flap by actuating the left front door CL motor (M14/6) and fuel filler flap CL motor (M14/10).

If another request for unlocking is received, the vehicle is unlocked globally.

Reception of the "unlocking" signal is indicated by the turn signal lamps flashing once

The acknowledgment is output via the left turn signal lamp (E1e5), right (E2e5), outer left (E3e1), outer right (E4e1) and left outside mirror turn signal lamp (E6/5) and right (E6/6).

IMPORTANT It is possible to switch from selective unlocking to global unlocking or vice versa by actuating the locking and unlocking buttons on the transmitter key (A8/1) simultaneously.
