Central locking emergency opening, function - GF80.20-P-4013T

Model 211.0/2 

The emergency opening function unlocks all doors, the tailgate and the rear hatch of the vehicle following an accident.

When the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2) or the restraint system control module (N2/7) receive at least one crash signal the vehicle is unlocked.

The following functions are disabled for approx. 10 s:

With the exception of automatic locking, all locking functions are re-enabled after this time window has expired.

The emergency opening function is canceled, i.e. the previous locking status is reestablished, if terminal 15 OFF is detected for at least 2 seconds.

The central locking is not actively actuated by switching the ignition off and on.

IMPORTANT The emergency opening function overrides all other central locking functions.
