| 4.1 | Disconnect electrical connector from outside mirror adjustment switch with/without mirror fold-in/out facility (S50/1), unscrew nuts (20) and remove outside mirror adjustment switch with/without mirror fold-in/out facility (S50/1) | Only left door lining. | |
| 5.1 | Disconnect electrical connector from left front seat adjustment switch group (S91/2) or right front seat adjustment switch group (S92/2), unscrew nuts (21) and remove left front seat adjustment switch group (S91/2) or right front seat adjustment switch group (S92/2) | On vehicles with code (275) electrically adjustable driver seat, steering column and outside mirrors with memory or Code (242) Electrically adjustable front passenger seat with memory | |

| 7 | Remove lenses (13, 15) from left or right door pocket (5) | ||

| 9 | Remove ribbon cable (16) | ||
| 10.1 | Disconnect electrical connector am remote trunk lid release switch (S15/1) and remove remote trunk lid release switch (S15/1) | Only left door lining. | |
| 11 | Remove wiring harness (17) | ||
| 12 | Unscrew bolt (19) and nut (22), remove retainers (23) and remove trim strip (9) from left or right door lining (1) | ||
| Assemble | |||
| 13 | Install trim strip (9) on left or right door lining (1), screw in bolt (19) and nut (22), install retainers (23) | Replace damaged retainers (23). |

| 15 | Install new door pocket (5) on left or right door lining (1) | AR72.10-P-1040T | |
| 16 | Install speaker grille (3) on left and right door pocket (5) | ||
| 17 | Install wiring harness (17) on left or right door lining (1) | ||
| 18 | Install ribbon cable (16) on left or right door lining (1) | ||
| 19 | Install lenses (13, 15) on left or right door pocket (5) | ||
