Emergency call telegram generation, function - GF82.95-P-2004T

After triggering an emergency call the telecommunications control unit (N112) automatically generates an emergency call telegram. It includes the following information:

• Location of the vehicle: degrees longitude and latitude
• Type of emergency call triggered: automatic or manual with the SOS switch (S93/3s1) or with code (450) taxi version with the emergency alarm system activate button (S62/6)
• Crash parameters from restraint systems control unit (N2/7)
• Identification number for identifying vehicle
• Time of emergency call

The emergency call telegram is transmitted to the service provider via mobile telephone (D-network) and is automatically decoded there.

In the telecommunications control unit (N112) up to three generated emergency call telegrams are stored. If more than three emergency call telegrams have been stored, the oldest telegram is written over. During a taxi emergency call the current vehicle position is stored every 10 minutes in addition.
