Windshield wiper in operation

Function

When engaging the reverse gear, the rear-end door wiper system is actuated depending on the position of the rear-end door wiper switch and the combination switch:

Rear-end door wiper switch not pressed:

Intermittent wipe with an intermission rate of 5 s

Rear-end door wiper switch pressed:

Wiper control synchronously to front windshield wiper (Continuous wiping or rain sensor mode)

Switching off rear wiper system

The rear window back-up wiping function is switched off either if there is no more backup signal or if the front windshield wiper is switched off.
