Remove/install rear door - AR72.12-P-0600SX

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
DANGER Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched  when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof. When moving components, ensure that no body parts or limbs are within the operating range of moving parts. AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
1 Open front door    
2 Completely move crank window in rear door (1) downward    
3 Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key or Keyless Go start/stop button from EIS control unit IMPORTANT Keyless Go start/stop button only on vehicles with code (889) Keyless Go.  
4 Disconnect left rear door separation point (X35/3) or right rear door separation point (X35/4)    
5 Unclip door holder (4) from B-pillar bracket with suitable screwdriver. NOTES Carefully unclip door holder (4), if necessary, use rag to protect against paint damage.  
6 Remove caps (2) from bolts (3)    
7 Unscrew screws (3) TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA72.12-P-1003-01M
8 Open front door (1), remove from door hinges with aid of helper and lay down on suitable subsurface NOTES Remove rear door (1) carefully. Danger of damaging paint.  
9 Install in the reverse order    
10 Check adjustment of rear door (1), correct if necessary.   AR72.12-P-0650SX
