	Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A

2	Install retaining lock for crankshaft/starter ring gear		AR03.30-P-5000GZB
3	Loosen bolts (3)	Engines with turbocharger (14a) without coolant cooling Do not use an impact wrench/driver or compressed air tool in order to unscrew and screw in the bolts (3), otherwise the threads in the crankshaft will be damaged.
4	Remove retaining lock for crankshaft/starter ring gear	Engines with turbocharger (14a) without coolant cooling	AR03.30-P-5000GZB
5.1	Unscrew bolts (3), remove driven plate (1) and flex plate (2) from crankshaft	Engines with turbocharger (14a) without coolant cooling Reinstall flex plate (2) in same position because bulging caused by bolts (3) may result in incorrect torque. Attach colored marking on flex plate (2) to driven plate (1).
5.2	Remove driven plate (1) from crankshaft	Engines with turbocharger (14b) with coolant cooling	AR03.30-P-8001-02MM

6.2	Install driven plate (1) with flex plate (2) on crankshaft and tighten bolts (3) finger-tight.	Engines with turbocharger (14a) without coolant cooling Observe previously installed marking on flex plate (2) in relation to driven plate (1). The cylinder pin (4) determines the installation location of drive plate (1). Replace bolts (3).

11	Carry out initialization	If a new drive plate is installed, perform initialization in the CDI control unit with STAR Diagnosis in the menu point "Control unit adaptation".
11	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
