Remove/install inlet port shutoff - AR09.20-P-1314GZB

	Removing
	Risk of injury caused by fingers being pinched or crushed when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lids, lift gates or sliding roof	Keep body parts and limbs well clear of moving parts.	AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
1.1	Removes strut tower brace	Model 164.8 only Remove strut tower brace from strut tower mounts.	AR62.30-P-2500GY
1.2	Remove partition wall between wheel wells	Model 251 only	AR62.30-P-2400RT
2	Remove engine trim panel	Model 164	AR01.10-P-2405GZB
2	Remove engine trim panel	Model 251	AR01.10-P-2405RTB
3	Detach bracket (3)	If installed.
4	Remove turbocharger	Model 164	AR09.40-P-6020GZB
4	Remove turbocharger	Model 251	AR09.40-P-6020RTB
5	Remove oil supply connection fittings for turbocharger		AR09.40-P-6023GZB
6	Loosen engine cable duct (1)	Remove bolts (2) and place engine cable duct (1) to one side.
7	Detach electrical connector at the intake port shutoff Engine (M55)
8	Unclip engine intake port shutoff (M55)	Unlatch clip (4), turn linkage and unlatch second clip.
9	Remove bolts (5)
10	Take out inlet port shutoff Engine (M55)
	Install
11	Install engine intake port shutoff (M55)
12	Clip in inlet port shutoff lever (M55)	Clips must not be reused and new clips must be fitted.
13	Fully tighten bolts (5)	Install inlet port shutoff Engine (M55) without tension and pay attention to the correct adjustment of the linkage.
14	Connect up electrical connector from intake port shutoff Engine (M55)
15	Secure engine cable duct (1)	Screw in bolts (2).
16	Install oil supply connection fitting for turbocharger	Replace gasket, in order to avoid leakage.	AR09.40-P-6023GZB
17	Install turbocharger	Model 164	AR09.40-P-6020GZB
17	Install turbocharger	Model 251	AR09.40-P-6020RTB
18	Fit bracket (3).	If installed. Press on bracket (3) at turbocharger and contact bolt to turbocharger. Then tighten the threaded connection at the inlet port shutoff and charge air manifold. Tighten bolt on turbocharger last.

20.1	Install strut tower brace	Model 164.8 only Install strut tower brace at spring dome mounts.	AR62.30-P-2500GY
20.2	Remove/install between the wheel well liners	Model 251 only	AR62.30-P-2400RT
	Adjust
21	Depress lever for inlet port shutoff (6) at stop (arrow)
22	Tighten bolt at fastener for inlet port shutoff lever (6)	When adjusting intake port shutoff (6) lever ensure that the intake port shutoff Engine (M55) is held by a spring without energization in the mechanical base position. This position must not be changed or affected by the adjusting procedure.
22	Tighten bolt at fastener for inlet port shutoff lever (6)		*BA09.20-P-1002-01Q
