Remove/install fluid reservoir - AR83.30-P-6520GZ

MODEL 164, 251 / (except 164.177, 251.077 /177) with CODE (580) Automatic air conditioning with CODE (581) Comfort automatic air conditioning with CODE (582) Rear air conditioner

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install    
DANGER Risk of explosion  caused by welding or soldering work on closed air conditioning system. Risk of poisoning  caused by inhaling overheated refrigerant vapors. Risk of injury  to skin and eyes caused by contact with liquid refrigerant. Never perform welding work on or near a closed air conditioning system. No smoking or open flames. Wear safety glasses and protective gloves. Work only in well ventilated areas. Carry out repair work on the air conditioning system circuit only after the system has been discharged. NOTES Procedure if air conditioning system is damaged or leaking   AH83.30-N-0004-01A

1 Drain, evacuate and refill air conditioning, check function and check for leaks Model 164 AR83.30-P-1760GZ

2 Remove front bumper Model 164 AR88.20-P-2000GZ
    Model 251 AR88.20-P-2000RT
3 Unscrew bolt (1).    
4 Remove bolts (2) TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA83.30-P-1002-01I 
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA83.30-P-1002-01J 
5 Unscrew bolt (3). TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA83.30-P-1001-01I 
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA83.30-P-1001-01J 
    COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS Set of plugs for air conditioning system *WH58.30-Z-1002-27A 
6 Remove fluid reservoir (4) IMPORTANTInstallation:  Use new fluid reservoir (4).
NOTESInstallation:  The packaging of the new fluid reservoir (4) must be undamaged. Once the packaging of the new fluid reservoir (4) has been opened, it must be installed within 20 minutes and the entire refrigerant circuit sealed, as otherwise the function of the fluid reservoir (4) can no longer be guaranteed.
IMPORTANTInstallation:  Replace sealing ring of refrigerant line and wet with compressor oil.
 
7 Use suitable plug to seal opening of refrigerant line and suitable stop plug to seal opening of fluid reservoir (4) NOTES The opening of the refrigerant line and fluid reservoir (4) must be closed otherwise dirt and moisture ingress damages the components which are connected to the refrigerant circuit.  
8 Install in the reverse order
